What are the brake components?
2026-03-13
The braking system consists of several key components, as follows:
1. Brake disc (also known as brake disc) interacts with brake pads during braking, using friction to reduce vehicle speed or stop the vehicle.
2. Brake friction pads (commonly known as brake pads) are composed of friction materials and metal support plates, and are the core components that generate friction force.
3. Brake caliper (also known as brake), its function is to fix the brake pads and precisely control the pressure applied by the brake pads to the brake disc.
4. Brake fluid (also known as brake fluid in professional terminology) plays an important role in transmitting brake pressure in the brake system.
5. The brake pipeline and hose are responsible for connecting the brake and the brake master cylinder to ensure smooth flow of brake fluid and transmission of necessary pressure.
6. The main function of the brake master cylinder and the booster is to generate sufficient thrust to activate the brake fluid, while the booster is mainly used to enhance the braking force.
7. The relevant components of the ABS system, including the ABS control module, sensors, and hydraulic control unit, work together to ensure the effective operation of the anti lock braking system.
All these components work together to ensure the stable and safe operation of the braking system.
